There are several popular storytime topics for Autumn.
There are many parents who are downplaying Halloween, usually for religious reasons. If you find some of your storytime families asking for fewer ghost stories, try pumpkin stories as a substitute. These are also appropriate for November and harvest time. For a craft project, kids can make scarecrow paperbag puppets.
