Hiking Storytime
“Read Beyond the Beaten Path” is the theme of the 2022 iRead summer reading program: https://www.ireadprogram.org/ focusing on a summer camp at the library. Even if you are not using iReads materials, camping, hiking, and related topics are great themes for summer stories. For an art project related to hiking, make these play bird finder binoculars: Bird Finder Binoculars – ARTBAR (artbarblog.com).
