Jason Reynolds Named Ambassador for Young People’s Literature: The Library of Congress named author Jason Reynolds the newest National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature on Jan. 13, 2020. Reynolds is known for his teen and tween novels, including Long Way Down, which was a 2018 Newbery Honor and Printz Honor book. He has written fifteen books, beginning in 2014 with When I Was the Greatest. He will be assuming the ambassador ship from Jacqueline Woodson, who has been serving since 2018.
