Charlotte Huck Awards: The National Council of Teachers of English announced the annual Charlotte Huck Award for Outstanding Fiction for Children, for books published in 2016. The winner is Jason Reynolds Ghost, published by Atheneum. Several Honor and Recommended books were also named: www.ncte.org/awards/charlotte-huck
