Children’s Book Council Names Diversity Award Winners: The CBC Diversity Outstanding Achievement Awards were announced on Sept. 25, 2019; this is the second year for these awards. The award honors children’s book publishing professionals; this year’s winners include Andrea Davis Pinkney from Scholastic, Namrata Tripathi from Penguin’s Kokila imprint, the Brown Bookshelf, and Just Us Books.
