California Book Awards Announced: The 90th Annual California Book Awards were announced and will be awarded on August 16, 2021. Efren Divided by Ernesto Cisneros (Quill Tree) won in the Juvenile category, and Private Lessons by Cynthia Salaysay (Candlewick) won in the Young Adult category.
