Author/Illustrator Laurent de Brunhoff Dies at Age 98: Laurent de Brunhoff has died at age 98, in late March 2024. He continued the Babar the Elephant series of children’s picture books begun by his father Jean de Brunhoff. Laurent de Brunhoff created more than forty books feature Babar the Elephant and his family.
