New ACL Mini-Grants Available to Our Members – Apply by Feb. 15, 2020.
Grants ($500 maximum) are available for library programs that are not part of the regular budget, including (but not limited to) author or illustrator guest speakers, professional performances for families, special hands-on programming including gaming and Makerspaces, Stay and Play resources for storytimes, special summer learning programs, and other programs that are not customarily part of the library’s budget (such as materials and staff salaries). If your program is chosen, funds will be disbursed in advance of the date of the program.
If grant is awarded, a brief follow-up report is due one month after the date of the event. It should include a photo, number of people who attended, and one page on what occurred at the program, what worked really well, and what you would do differently in the future. Applicants must be ACL Members!

The Association of Children’s Librarians of Northern California are pleased to announce our second round of Mini-grants for library programming, to be distributed in 2019. Applicants must be ACL members, and the programs must be for children, teens, or families.
