ACL Members Ann Hotta and Yesica Hurd Featured in Children & Libraries. Check out the Summer 2022 issue of ALA/ALSC’s Children & Libraries (v. 20, no. 2) to see articles by two ACL members! Ann Hotta, retired Berkeley PL children’s librarian, wrote “Storytime Surprise! Solving the Puzzle of Distracted Adults,” where she describes how storytime presenters can engage caregivers as well as children. Yesenia Hurd, children’s librarian with San Francisco PL, wrote “Are DVDs Dinosaurs? The Impact, and Inequities, of Streaming,” where she talks about the decline in library purchases of DVDs and BluRays, even though not everyone can use online streaming services. Congratulations to them both! Children and Libraries: The Journal of ALSC | Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) (ala.org)
