The 2014 Finalists for the Cybils Announced: www.cybils.com/2015/01/the-2014-finalists.html . The 2014 finalists for the Cybils, which are the Children and Young Adult Bloggers Literary Awards, were announced on January 1, 2015. Along with various book categories such as poetry and speculative fiction, they also award book apps. Check their website for the full list of finalists.
Bay Area Book Festival Announced: www.baybookfest.org/home/ . June 6-7, 2015 is the date for the upcoming Bay Area Book Festival, to be held at UC Berkeley. There will also be a street fair and children’s arena as part of the festival. They anticipate more than 150 authors will be presenting at the event. Check their website for updates as the date approaches.
