Preschool Storytime Ideas

Pancakes

Food is always a popular theme for storytime whether it is cookies, pizza, or ice cream! Special thanks to Katherine Loeser of the Glendale Public Library for many of these ideas on a Pancake-themed storytime. Look for the "Pancakes" song at: www.kididdles.com/lyrics/p047.html

And for a craft idea, try: www.mousecookiebooks.com/activities/pdfs/findpigspancake.pdf which has an easy maze featuring the character from If You Give a Pig a Pancake. Or, check out some of the craft ideas here: www.activityvillage.co.uk/pancake_day.htm
