For a simple craft project, kids can make star collage paintings. Have the kids paint a dark blue background on their papers, then add star stickers to make the night sky. Be sure to sing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.”

Sweeney, Joan. ME AND MY PLAY IN SPACE. A child dressed like an astronaut describes outer space and the solar system.
